Handcrafted 8-tone Tiny Mini Kalimba on a resonant board. The kalimba is tuned in a special B minor original tuning by the composer SaReGaMa.
Despite its compact size, the kalimba has a clear, bright, and high-quality sound. We produce the Tiny Mini in a single-row design, and if you are interested in a different tuning, please contact us via email. We will do our best to fulfill your musical dreams in mini dimensions 🙂
This intuitive tuning has well-placed tines for comfortable play. By purchasing an instrument with this tuning, you directly support its creator Serge – SaReGaMa, a great musician and composer, to whom we contribute a portion from every kalimba sold with his tuning.
This kalimba is also made of wood, which has been dried for several years. We hand-made it out of walnut tree wood, which is characteristic with its soft and warm tone. Its sound qualities are guaranteed by carefully picking the trees with which we then work. Every kalimba that goes through such process sounds even better in the long run – thanks to frequent playing.
Sound tuning
Pentatonic tuning is easier and you really don’t have to think that hard while playing so. It’s ideal for kalimba beginners, or for the kids. This tuning, which indicates five tones, brings joy to people who don’t have much experience with a musical instrument.
This kalimba is tuned in B D E F# G ( hybrid B minor pentatonic scale).
Your instrument will be taken care of. We provide free unlimited warranty with every kalimba for tuning and cleaning of the instrument.
Packed in a hand-painted box
Every instrument gets our attention. From choosing the right tree to work with, all the way to the final packaging, which will come to your doorstep. Everything is handmade. So is the cover box, which we paint by hand as a tribute to the instrument itself. It’s not only beautiful, but it can also be used as a resonance surface while playing.
