Hikari special birdseye kalimba – only one of a kind
799,00€
Kalimba Hikari (“Light”) is a unique instrument crafted from rare birdseye ash wood.
Birdseye wood, often seen in maples, features a distinctive and beautiful pattern resembling small swirling “eyes.” This phenomenon is relatively rare, occurring in less than 1% of trees. In ash trees, it is even more uncommon.
The wood used for the Hikari kalimba is densely grown, with a flamed grain pattern and a dreamy sound. The back of the kalimba has been left with a natural bark edge of sapwood. This detail does not affect the sound or durability of the instrument, but its structure and exceptional beauty still leave us speechless. Do you agree?
The Sound of Hikari:
Ash wood is known for its bright, clear tones with a long sustain, and Hikari meets these expectations perfectly. Thanks to its remarkable resonance, it is ideal for sound and body massages, music therapy, playing in pairs, or simply for your personal enjoyment.
Wherever you place it, it will stand out as a unique and extraordinary centerpiece.
Measuring 17 x 14 cm, it fits perfectly in the hands of adults. Kalimba Hikari is tuned in the diatonic tuning Aminor, which surprises with the fullness of the sound and the possibility of intuitive playing. Hikari is made in a two-row design, great for all adult players.
You will get a practical pouch for kalimba transfer, kalimba stand and lifetime service as a gift.

Maybe you remember the “do re mi fa so la si do” exercise from the music classes at your elementary school. It’s an indication of the seven tones in a diatonic scale. If you’ve just hummed this in your mind, you sang one octave.
