Special kalimba Theia is made of densely grown ash wood. Theia arose at the branching point of the main trunk, thanks to which the wood of the instrument is tough, i.e. extremely strong and flexible at the same time. The kalimba has a significant drawing and a beautiful pearly coloring.
This wood was with us in the workshop for 10 years, we dried it for an exceptionally long time. We counted 41 years of tree growth on this board alone.

Kalimba Theia is tuned in the diatonic tuning E minor, which can also be played intuitively. During the playing, you will definitely appreciate its quality, clear sound and clarity of tones.

Maybe you remember the “do re mi fa so la si do” exercise from the music classes at your elementary school. It’s an indication of the seven tones in a diatonic scale. If you’ve just hummed this in your mind, you sang one octave. Ordinary, we tune these kalimbas to G major. This kalimba is tuned in special way – in diatonic E minor tuning.
