Kokoro 19tone ash pick up Gminor kalimba

479,00

In Japanese, the word kokoro means “heart.” This kalimba has truly found its way into our hearts.
Its sound is magical, captivating, and deep. When we play it, we feel transported to the depths of a Tatras forest, where the G minor tuning feels perfectly at home.

The Kokoro kalimba is crafted from dense flamed ash wood, which ensures a strong vibration and a long-lasting sustain. On the front, you’ll find a small, natural heart-shaped pattern.

The sound of the kalimba is soft, profound, and meditative. That’s why we chose the diatonic G minor tuning for it. This tuning is easy to play and perfect for intuitive playing.

With dimensions of 17 × 14 cm, the kalimba fits comfortably in adult hands. Kokoro features 19 tones and a double-row arrangement of tines, making it suitable for beginners as well as players with larger fingers.

You will receive a practical pouch for kalimba transport, lifetime service, and a lifetime warranty as a gift.

There is only one kalimba available – prepared and ready to be shipped immediately.

Description

Sound tuning

Maybe you remember the “do re mi fa so la si do” exercise from the music classes at your elementary school. It’s an indication of the seven tones in a diatonic scale. If you’ve just hummed this in your mind, you sang one octave. Ordinary, we tune these kalimbas to G major. This kalimba is tuned in special way – diatonic G minor (G – A – B♭ – C – D – E♭ – F ).
